Last Wave — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 14 October 2026

Last Wave ("the game") is made by Nakul Creations ("we"). This policy explains what information the game handles and why. It applies to the Android app com.lastwave.game distributed on Google Play. The same text is published at https://naaaakuu.github.io/lastwave-site/privacy.html and linked from the game (Settings → ABOUT → PRIVACY POLICY).

Summary

Google Sign-In through Firebase Authentication (account).

1. Data the game itself stores on your device

Your player name, sound/graphics/vibration settings, your progress (survivors unlocked, runs played, contracts, mastery, records) and an ad-frequency counter are stored in the game's private storage on your phone. Android Auto Backup is disabled, so this data is not copied to your Google account. Settings → RESET PROGRESS erases your progress; uninstalling the game removes everything it stored.

2. Local multiplayer (LAN)

When you host or join a room, the game talks directly to the other phones on the same Wi-Fi network (your player name, chosen survivor, room name and match data). Nothing about a LAN match is sent over the internet and nothing is sent to us.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The game shows two kinds of ads: optional rewarded ads that only play when you tap a button to watch one (to unlock the Brawler), and **occasional full-screen ads between solo runs** (never in your first three finished solo runs, then at most once every third run, and only after you tap PLAY AGAIN / TRY AGAIN). Ads are never shown during gameplay or in local multiplayer.

Ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK). When an ad is requested, the SDK collects and shares with Google information from your device, which may include:

Google uses this to deliver, measure and, where you have allowed it, personalise ads, and to prevent fraud. Details: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and https://policies.google.com/privacy. Ad content in the game is capped at Google's "T" (teen) rating.

Your choices

is shown before any ad is requested. You can consent, refuse or manage your options, and you can change your choice later from Settings → AD PRIVACY.

settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).

internet connection.

4. Optional Google Sign-In (Firebase Authentication)

Signing in is optional and unlocks nothing. If you tap SIGN IN WITH GOOGLE, Google's account picker gives the game a sign-in token, which the game sends to **Firebase Authentication** (a Google service; our project is last-wave-fa39f) to create or sign in to an account. The account holds your Google user ID, display name and email address, and Firebase keeps standard authentication metadata (sign-in times, IP address). The game also keeps your name, email and a session token on your device so you stay signed in.

We use this data only to identify your account. We do not use it for advertising, we do not share it with anyone other than Google (which processes it for us), and we do not combine it with your gameplay data. Firebase's data handling is described at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

Deleting your account. In the game: menu → your account button → DELETE ACCOUNT (tap twice). This deletes the Firebase account and its data immediately and signs you out on the device. If you no longer have the game installed, follow https://naaaakuu.github.io/lastwave-site/delete-account.html or email us (below) with the address you signed in with; we delete the account within 30 days. Nothing else is kept.

5. Data retention

6. Security

All connections to Google services use HTTPS. LAN play stays on your local network.

7. Children

The game is rated for teenagers and adults, is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted at the same address with a new date.

9. Contact

Feedback and sharing. Settings → SEND FEEDBACK opens your own email app with a message to us, pre-filled with the game version and your device model; nothing is sent unless you send it. If you email us we receive your email address and what you write, use them only to reply and to improve the game, and delete them on request. Settings → SHARE GAME opens Android’s share sheet with a link to the game, and RATE GAME opens its Google Play page; the game does not see what you share or with whom.
